Pittosporum revolutum - Brisbane Laurel
This shrub grows to 3 meters and can become a dense shape with regular pruning.
The flowers are pale yellow, fragrant bell shaped and found in clusters from August
to September.
The fruit is spectacular when ripe and the red seeds are revealed, these are
sort after by birds.
It prefers part shade in well composted soils.
P.revolutum is easily propagated from seed but the sticky coating needs to be
washed off with soap or sand first.
These plants are available from Sea Acres Rainforest Centre for a $3.00 donation to Landcare.
